Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate construction estimates for commercial roofing projects using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and clients to develop competitive bids that align with project scope and budget.
Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and site conditions to determine material quantities and labor requirements.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather on-site data, and verify project feasibility.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms while maintaining quality standards.
Manage cost control throughout the bidding process by analyzing potential risks and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Assist in contract review and development, ensuring all project costs are accurately reflected and contractual obligations are met.
Support project management teams during project execution by providing cost updates, change order evaluations, and budget tracking.

Skills

Proficiency in construction estimating software such as experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes within the commercial roofing sector.
Solid understanding of construction management principles, contracts, and project lifecycle from bidding through completion.
