We are looking for a motivated HVAC Installation Helper to assist with the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and light commercial settings. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC trade while working under the supervision of experienced installers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Help measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and other HVAC components.
- Support lead installers in system setup, wiring, and testing for proper operation.
- Keep job sites clean and organized, removing debris and disposing of old equipment properly.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Learn and apply proper installation techniques under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude on the job.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience required; prior HVAC or construction experience is a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced installers.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, attics, and crawl spaces.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
