Our client is looking to bring on an Auto Body Technician. This role is located in Billerica.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and estimate timeframes.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques, ensuring smooth finishes and color matching.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate metal components.
- Replace or repair auto glass, including windshields and side windows, maintaining safety standards.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly of parts.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and work completed for quality assurance and customer transparency.
Qualifications
- Background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
- 5+ years working in an Auto Body or Automotive position.
- Experience with auto body work and repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair, auto painting, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance.
Pay: $27.64 - $30.00 per hour
