Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites or during maintenance tasks.
- Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to HVAC, piping, or mechanical components, ensuring optimal operation.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for pipe joining or repairs, adhering to safety standards.
- Support remodeling and renovation projects by assembling plumbing fixtures and performing maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of tools and personal protective equipment.
Plumber Requirements
- Prior experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as HVAC, carpentry, or handyman work is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments involving heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of plumbing systems, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces, on ladders, and heights (rooftops).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions accurately.
