Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and safety regulations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble piping systems
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations and repairs
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within remodeling or new build projects
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly
- Assist with HVAC system components related to plumbing where applicable, ensuring integrated system functionality
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction plumbing, including pipe fitting, threading, and welding techniques
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing components and systems
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Familiarity with carpentry principles relevant to remodeling projects and structural support
- Experience with HVAC systems integration related to plumbing infrastructure is a plus
