Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute complex plumbing projects across commercial and residential construction sites. As a Licensed Master Plumber, you will oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring all work complies with local codes and safety standards. Your expertise will be vital in estimating project costs, reading blueprints, and coordinating with construction teams to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Duties
- Lead plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan plumbing layouts and system designs.
- Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects, including material take-offs and labor requirements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other specialized mechanical tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and proper installation of plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks and perform remodeling or renovation work as needed for maintenance or upgrade projects.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes, flow rates, and material quantities.
- Read construction schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues during installation or repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for record-keeping purposes.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in commercial settings.
- Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading to plan effective project workflows.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems related to plumbing integration is a plus.
- Skilled in welding techniques necessary for pipe fabrication and repair tasks.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and schematics reading.
- Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work safely in dynamic environments involving heavy lifting and remodeling tasks.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for field service operations.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations.
- Experience with carpentry or handyman skills that support remodeling or maintenance projects is advantageous.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment when required.
