In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing, replacing, and refinishing damaged body parts. Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans using auto estimating tools
Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work with precision
Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to join metal components securely
Operate power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment to restore vehicle surfaces
Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement with attention to detail for a seamless finish
Fabricate custom parts or modifications using sheet metal fabrication skills as needed
Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications through quality control checks
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and mechanical tasks
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process

Skills

Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred
Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various power tools
Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto restoration
Skilled in auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for high-quality finishes
Ability to work with sheet metal, auto glass, and perform auto estimating accurately
Experience with auto body assembly, detailing, and auto painting processes
Excellent manual dexterity with hand tools and power tools for precise repairs
Physical strength for heavy lifting and performing demanding repair tasks
Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress and expectations
Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety procedures, and quality assurance practices
