Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician, where you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor comfort and air quality. As an HVAC Installer Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality service that keeps our clients comfortable year-round. Your expertise in construction, refrigeration, plumbing, and HVAC design will drive success in every installation and service call.

Duties

Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately install or repair systems.
Use welding, plumbing skills, and mechanical knowledge to assemble or modify equipment as needed.
Test electrical components and control systems to verify proper operation; repair or replace faulty parts.
Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and safety documentation for each project or service call.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.
Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration, and property maintenance practices.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair, boiler operation, welding, and equipment repair.
Familiarity with field service procedures and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with plumbing and refrigeration is highly desirable.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in property maintenance or appliance repair.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments; excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
