Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units. This role requires a service-oriented mindset and the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various HVAC equipment. The technician will work in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance of heating and cooling systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning units and heating systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues within HVAC systems.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Design and implement efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client specifications.
- Execute field service calls efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Familiarity with plumbing principles as they relate to HVAC systems is a plus.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Certification or licensure in HVAC is preferred but not mandatory.
