Responsibilities

Assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems.
Learn to read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to support system troubleshooting.
Support field service operations by performing routine inspections of air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
Help with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects.
Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and equipment repair assessments.
Participate in mechanical tasks necessary for equipment repair or system upgrades.

Skills

Basic understanding of construction principles related to HVAC installation and property maintenance.
Prior service technician experience or hands-on work in appliance repair is a plus.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, and mechanical knowledge essential for troubleshooting.
Knowledge of heating and hydro systems, air conditioning unit is advantageous.
Ability to operate field service tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment safely.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn welding techniques and equipment repair procedures.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver is beneficial for travel between job sites.
