Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and efficiency
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Install and connect HVAC equipment and components
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while performing HVAC tasks
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration and air conditioning principles
- Proficient in appliance repair and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Skilled in equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose HVAC system issues
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a field service environment
