Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, coordinate teams, and ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters.

Duties

Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes in compliance with company policies.
Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety standards and quality control are maintained.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Utilize Civil 3D for site design coordination when applicable.
Ensure adherence to project budgets by tracking costs and managing resources efficiently.
Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for stakeholders.

Skills

Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D.
Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and contract management.
Experience with construction site operations and site safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on time management and resource allocation.
Familiarity with construction management principles including quality assurance and safety compliance.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
