We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with blueprints and specifications. Your expertise in fitting and/or welding, and blueprint reading will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of these systems.

Paid Holidays

1 Week paid vacation after working 1 year.

$120 per diem on the road

Responsibilities:

Install and assemble piping systems, including cutting, threading, grooving, and welding pipes
Fabricate pipe components using hand tools and machinery
Weld pipes and fittings together using welding techniques
Install Plumbing lines, and pipelines in compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine pipe layouts and specifications
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and bending using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments
Inspect and test installed piping systems to identify any leaks or malfunctions
Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate pipefitting activities
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

Proficient in fitting and/or welding techniques or in a similar role within construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and precision in work
Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to piping fabrication and installation.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations for measurements and layouts.
Skilled in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe threading the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and tube bending machinery.
Construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures is essential.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
