Job description
Canopy Lumber Products is a custom pallet and crate manufacturing business based in Rock Valley, Iowa. We specialize in manufacturing complex wooden shipping assemblies and industrial wood products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble custom pallets, crates, and shipping assemblies using various power tools and pneumatic tools (nail gun, staple gun, screw gun)
- Read and understand design drawings
- Set up assembly stations and assist in product changeovers
- Operate various cutting, processing, and assembly machines
- Maintain a steady level of production to keep up with daily demand
- Move finished products to shipping area or delivery vehicle. Forklift training available.
Requirements:
- Safely operate a variety of pneumatic and electric tools
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and 30 pounds continuously
- Ability to be on your feet for entire shift
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and design models
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm
- Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
