We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems including HVAC/R units, refrigeration equipment, and appliances.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, compressors, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality.
- Conduct troubleshooting of air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with construction or installation projects related to facility upgrades or new equipment setups.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or upgrades to ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and electrical wiring.
- Hands-on experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigerant handling is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise repairs or installations.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively.
