Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Refrigeration Installer/Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of refrigeration and mechanical systems across various properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on, construct and install a diverse range of equipment, from small commercial refrigeration units including ice machines, commercial kitchen cooling equipment, and small walk in boxes, to large systems including chillers, dairy bulk talks, and cold storage facilities, contributing directly to property maintenance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, technical expertise, and a passion for building and maintaining critical systems that keep our facilities running smoothly. As a vital part of our field install and service team, you will build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration equipment while ensuring safety standards are met at all times.

Duties

Install, assemble, diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and refrigeration design plans to accurately troubleshoot issues.
Conduct plumbing work related to refrigeration and dairy systems, including pipe repairs and installations.
Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical repairs.
Field service work involving appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, and equipment upgrades across multiple sites.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

Proven experience with electrical, plumbing, and or refrigeration, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), or mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of construction principles related to building systems maintenance.
Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation and HVAC design concepts.
Epa 608 certification
Mechanical knowledge including plumbing, welding, and equipment repair.
Ability to operate field service tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices confidently.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred.
Additional skills in appliance repair, property maintenance, welding techniques, or mechanic experience are highly desirable. Join us in delivering exceptional service through technical excellence!
