Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal structures and components
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide fabrication and assembly tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate cuts and fits
- Fabricate sheet metal components for ductwork, piping, or structural assemblies in accordance with ASME codes & standards
- Operate cranes, forklifts, rigging gear, and machining tools to move heavy materials safely on construction sites or manufacturing floors
- Assemble fabricated parts using mechanical knowledge, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills
- Cut, thread pipes, solder fittings, and perform plasma cutting or machining tasks as needed for project completion
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Construction site experience or manufacturing background preferred
- Proven ability in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, and welding techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and rigging equipment
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to fabrication and welding practices
- Ability to operate forklifts and perform basic pipe threading or ductwork fabrication tasks
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of schematics and assembly processes
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on safety procedures and teamwork
