Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Master to join our team. This role requires extensive experience in HVAC systems and mechanical repair. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in service technician work and HVAC design, with the ability to troubleshoot. As the Master, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. As the Master you will also be required to assist the office in scheduling the team. This is a growing business that is in need of someone willing to grow with us.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct equipment repairs using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC/R systems.
- Service field equipment including appliances and property maintenance systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and system performance.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Assist in the design and upgrade of HVAC systems to improve efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Use plans and schematics to bid out new builds and change outs of systems.
- Perform a load calculation like a Manual J for all new builds per plans.
- Schedule service calls, assign techs to calls, and send estimates out of Quickbooks.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in construction, HVAC service technician work, or property maintenance.
- Proven mastery in HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and air conditioning units.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Skilled in plumbing, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks.
- Experience working with field service operations involving appliance repair and property upkeep.
- Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is essential.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment safely and effectively in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
