Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with strong troubleshooting and programming skills. Candidates must possess a valid FDNY S-98 Certificate or NICET II certification, or Equivalent, as well as OSHA 30. A valid driver’s license is required.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid OSHA 30 certification
Valid driver’s license
FDNY S-98 or Nicet II-or Equivalent

Experience:

At least 3 years of hands-on field experience with demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and service calls.
Knowledge of NYC and National Fire codes a must
Programing Fire Alarm Systems
Experience marking up as-built drawings to reflect field changes and final installations
Certified education programs may count as limited experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist Fire Alarm technicians for Testing, Installations, and Troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with the AHJ standards.
Programming, troubleshooting and repairs on Fire Alarm Systems.
Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Benefits and Compensation:

Salary between 70,000.00 and 85,000.00 per year
