We are a family-owned and operated HVAC company serving the Phoenix market, with a strong and growing commercial division.
We’re currently doing $4M in commercial work and are at a turning point-our growth is being limited by capacity, not demand.
We’re looking for a high-level Project Manager who can take ownership of projects, protect margins, and help us scale to the next level.
This is not a “babysitting jobs” role.
This is a key leadership position that will:
- Take over day-to-day project execution
- Free up ownership to pursue larger projects
- Help grow the division from $4M → $6M+
If you know how to run projects AND drive profitability-you’ll thrive here.
- What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Manage multiple commercial HVAC projects from kickoff to closeout
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and job costing
- Handle submittals, RFIs, and GC communication
- Track labor vs estimate and protect margins
- Identify and push change orders
- Coordinate with field teams and superintendent
- Ensure timely billing and strong cash flow
- You own the project. Start to finish.
- Projects delivered on time and on budget
- 30%–40% gross margins maintained or improved
- Labor hitting or beating estimates
- Change orders consistently captured
- Clear, proactive communication with GCs and internal team
- Compensation & Incentives
- Base Salary: $115K – $125K (DOE)
- Performance Bonus: $20K – $50K
- Based on project profitability, timelines, and performance
-This role is designed for someone who wants to earn based on performance, not just collect a paycheck.
- Proven experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical projects
- Has managed $2M+ in annual project volume
- Strong understanding of job costing and budgets
- Experience working with General Contractors
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Organized, accountable, and results-driven
- Someone who needs constant direction
- Someone who avoids accountability
- Someone who only manages tasks-not results
- Family-owned culture (not corporate)
- Real growth opportunity into leadership
- Ability to directly impact company growth
- Strong pipeline and opportunity for larger projects
- Performance-based upside
