Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and data networks. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage systems and their components, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities:
- Install low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and data networks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and location of wiring and equipment
- Install wiring and electrical components to meet local and national electrical codes
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a low voltage technician
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and data networks
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Self-Starter and ability to work alone
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
