Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.
Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding to join metals according to project specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork.
Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
Conduct pipe threading, soldering, and mechanical assembly as required for complex projects involving piping or structural elements.
Follow safety protocols adhering to ASME codes & standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols.
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, welding, and plasma cutting techniques.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, machining equipment, and rigging gear.
Knowledge of fabrication processes including sheet metal work, ductwork installation, pipe threading, and assembly.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes or construction projects is highly desirable.
Certifications in welding or rigging are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is preferred.
