Reports to: Production Supervisor
Location: Rincon, GA

Job Summary/Objective
The Oil / Oven Operator provides technical, hands-on support, execution, operation, and function of the Autoclave(s), Oil Room, Oil Farm, transformer oil process, and their computer monitoring systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Operate and/or tend to ovens, oil room, oil farm and transformer oil process, hot oil spray, and computer system that run and monitor the operations
- Monitor/Maintain fluid levels in the heating and isostatic systems
- Check, Direct and/or remote monitor, and maintain basic requirements needed to fulfill preparation and execution of operation of oven, oil room, and oil farm
- Record production and operational data on specified forms/software systems
- Perform operating steps in evacuation, heating, pressure reduction, fine vacuuming, and aeration processes
- Notify engineers, leadership, and other supervisory personnel when an issue is identified in order to define and solve developmental problems
- Perform vacuum and oil filling and drainage on transformers
- Monitor & perform pressure tests on transformers
- Maintain cleanliness and safe operations of oven(s), oil room, and oil farm
Required Education and Experience
- High School degree or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1-2 Years of Mechanical, Maintenance, and/or manufacturing experience preferably in the transformer, oil, waste-water tank, or power plant industry
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
- Experience operating forklift, crane, air and hand tools.
- Basic computer and data entry
- 24/7 Operation, Employee MUST be able to work flexible schedule and On-Call when assigned
