Job Summary:

The role of the Automotive Electrician is to perform a wide range of service work related to the customization of vehicles for pursuit vehicles. Technicians must be familiar with emergency vehicle lighting systems and related first-responder equipment.

Job Duties:

Perform quality installations of emergency lighting and accessories on all makes and model vehicles.
Installation and assembly of after-market equipment and accessories, meeting allotted time requirements
Performs wiring of emergency lights, camera systems, partitions, push bumpers, and miscellaneous accessory components
Troubleshooting electronic, interior, exterior and mechanical systems
Follows manufacturer’s specifications for installation of components and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
