Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Duct Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of ductwork systems in both residential and commercial environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, precision in workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, fabricate, assemble, and install duct systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect and repair existing ductwork to ensure proper airflow and efficiency.
- Perform duct sealing and insulation to enhance system performance and energy savings.
- Work with various types of duct materials, including sheet metal, flex duct, and fiberglass duct board.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other construction professionals on system layouts and installation schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation or sheet metal work (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and ductwork schematics.
- Familiarity with HVAC tools, machinery, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Must have a valid driver's license. (required)
