We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate timelines and milestones.
- Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work progresses efficiently.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings such as Civil 3D files.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to ensure compliance and cost control.
- Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost forecasts and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, reports, and updates; address issues proactively to maintain momentum.
- Implement project management best practices for scheduling, risk mitigation, and resource coordination across multiple teams.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress reports.
- Approve invoices, change orders, and progress payments.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management and project coordination in large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Autodesk, GCPay, PlanGrid, Building Connected, TradeTapp & Pype AutoSpecs.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate execution of plans.
- Expertise in contracts administration and understanding of legal aspects related to construction projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and resource planning using Primavera P6 or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes for accurate budgeting and cost control.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience managing construction projects. Minimum of one full hotel construction project completed from preconstruction through final closeout required.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Autodesk)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications (PMP, CCM, LEED, or OSHA 30)
- Experience in hospitality / commercial / industrial construction
- Familiarity with local permitting and inspection processes
