What you will do:

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to guide fabrication work

Lay out, measure, and fabricate steel components according to exact specifications
-
Perform MIG welding as the primary method; use TIG or Stick welding as needed for specific tasks
-
Operate shop equipment
-
Inspect welds and finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and durability requirements
-
Identify potential hazards and apply appropriate protections to materials and the work area before welding or grinding
-
Show up on time and ready to work
Minimum Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in steel or metal fabrication
-
Proficient in MIG welding
-
Ability to read and understand shop drawings and specifications
-
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours/day)

Reliable attendance
-
High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions

Indoor shop environment with fabrication work in progress throughout the day

Exposure to noise, paint fumes, sparks, and moving equipment

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
