Quality Manager
We are looking for a day shift Quality Manager for our sheet metal fabrication shop. You will be responsible for inspecting parts and managing the quality process across our laser, press brake, welding, and fabrication operations from 7am to 3:30pm daily. Some quality experience preferred - but not 100% necessary. Hands-on fabrication background, welding or fitting knowledge, and strong attention to detail are what matter most. Below are daily responsibilities:
- Inspecting parts against prints and customer specifications using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measurement tools
- Verifying welding and fitting work for conformance to drawings
- Managing the quality process across laser, press brake, welding, and fab assembly
- Documenting inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions
- Working with the foreman and operators to catch and fix issues at the source
- Following up on root causes and driving corrective action through to completion
- Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor
- Assisting in other areas of the shop when needed
