Senior HVAC Field Technician (Service)

Collins Heating & Air – Seymour, IN

Collins Heating & Air is looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Field Technician to join our team. This role is focused on service, diagnostics, and repair. We’re a family-owned company that values honesty, quality work, and taking care of our customers the right way.

Position Overview

This position is primarily responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems, with a focus on accurate troubleshooting and customer communication. The ideal candidate is confident running service calls independently and takes pride in doing the job right.

What You’ll Do:

Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (primarily York equipment)
Perform service calls with strong attention to detail and efficiency
Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers
Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC service experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
EPA Certification required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage service calls
Strong customer service and communication skills
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
Must be dependable and motivated
