Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and welding various materials, particularly in the construction and assembly of railing components. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The Fabricator/Welder will work primarily in a shop setting, ensuring that all work meets industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
Utilize FCAW techniques for welding projects, ensuring strong and durable joints.
Use tools such as micrometers to measure dimensions accurately.
Conduct basic math calculations to ensure precision in fabricating processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Adhere to all safety protocols while working on construction sites.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
Proficiency in a variety of welder concepts, practices and procedures.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to fabrication and welding.
Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
