Position Overview
is seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Technician / HVAC Technician to join our growing team.
This position involves a combination of general property maintenance, repairs, unit turnovers, and HVAC-related service work across residential, commercial, condominium, and community-managed properties throughout Central Massachusetts.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, works well independently, and has strong troubleshooting abilities. HVAC experience is strongly preferred, and applicants with experience servicing furnaces, boilers, mini-splits, and air conditioning systems are encouraged to apply.
ResponsibilitiesHVAC & Mechanical
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Perform maintenance and repairs on furnaces, boilers, condensers, mini-splits, air handlers, and related systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections
- Replace components such as thermostats, motors, filters, capacitors, and control boards
- Assist with HVAC installations and upgrades as needed
General Maintenance
- Routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance
- General maintenance including basic troubleshooting of plumbing and electrical systems
- Drywall, painting, carpentry, and flooring repairs
- Appliance troubleshooting and replacement
- Doors, locks, windows, and hardware repairs
- Unit turnovers and make-ready work
- Property inspections and reporting maintenance concerns
Grounds & Seasonal Work
- Snow removal and salting
- Spring/fall cleanup
- Exterior and common-area upkeep
Qualifications
- Prior maintenance experience required
- HVAC experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule & On-Call
- Full-time position
- Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency maintenance
- Some nights and weekends may be required for emergency response
