We are seeking a hands-on Shop Manager / Estimator / Welder to lead daily shop operations for an aluminum boom and extension manufacturing company for agricultural equipment.

Additionally we do all other types of welding and fabrication projects. This role requires someone who can manage workflow, maintain quality standards, and produce high-quality welds and fabricated products.

This is a leadership role for someone who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in both production efficiency and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities- Shop Management

Oversee daily shop operations, workflow, and job scheduling
Assign tasks and manage shop personnel
Ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Manage shop inventory, materials, and equipment
Coordinate with management on job priorities and timelines

Welding & Fabrication

Perform MIG, TIG, welding on various materials (steel, aluminum)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specs
Fabricate parts, equipment, and custom builds
Ensure accuracy, fit-up, and finish quality
Assist with installation or field work when needed
Laser Table mgnt and productivity

Operations & Coordination

Work closely with sales and project teams on job requirements
Assist with estimating materials, labor, and timelines
Order materials and track usage
Troubleshoot fabrication or equipment issues
Ensure proper documentation of jobs and progress

Qualifications

3+ years welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
Experience managing or leading a shop or crew
Strong knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
