Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. This role requires a solid understanding of low voltage electrical systems and the ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair alarm systems including fire alarms, security alarms, and access control systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform installations and repairs efficiently.
Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to detect any issues or malfunctions.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of systems.
Use voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to test electrical components.
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment inventory.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems.

Experience

Proven experience in low voltage electrical work or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
Proficiency in reading CAD drawings is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and accurately.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
