Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join the Mr. Grant Contracting team. Mr. Grant's is a multi-functional construction business with a main focus in the Industrial field. As a Fabricator/Welder you will be responsible to work on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks from shop work to field work. If you have a strong work ethic and experience in construction or related fields, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of fabrication tasks not limited to cutting, grinding, stick welding, MIG welding, and TIG Welding.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Fabrication of structural steel components.
- Layout and fabrication of welded pipe.
- Shop and field fabrication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
- AWS certification in pipe welding and structural is a plus.
- Proficiency in MIG and stick welding pipe and TIG welding would be a plus.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Reading and understanding shop drawings and blueprints.
- Valid NYS driver's license is a plus.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
