RK Construction is seeking a concrete laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various concrete projects, including pouring, finishing, and site preparation. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow within the trade. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with co- workers, and customers. A positive attitude, reliable and hardworking and is a MUST.

Qualifications

Concrete Construction : at least 1 year of experience in construction or any experience concrete construction (Required)
Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities & Requirements

Good understanding of general concrete construction, from foundations to flat work
Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazards
Assist with setting forms and reinforcing materials
Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate tools and equipment
Help finish concrete surfaces (smoothing, leveling, edging, etc.)
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
Follow instructions from supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Able to work under pressure and use creative thinking to solve problems
Ability to read plans
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is needed.
Able to work physically 8-10 hrs a day.
Ability to work overtime as necessary such as extended work days and weekends
Projects located in Central Oregon (Madras, Redmond, Bend, Prinnville)

A motor vehicle records check is also required for positions with driving responsibilities.
Able to lift over 75 lbs. All tools/equipment provided.

Starting Pay Range starts at $19 (depends on verifiable experience)
