Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, appliances, and mechanical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct service technician tasks such as replacing parts, calibrating systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or system installations.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or upgrades when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and air conditioning units is essential.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to facility upgrades or system installations is a plus.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC/R or refrigeration are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
