Job Description
As a Senior Installer at CH Mechanical, you will lead HVAC installation projects from start to finish. This role is for someone who can run jobs, manage crews, and deliver clean, high-quality installs without constant oversight.
We’re looking for a true lead installer — not just someone who can work, but someone who can own the job site.
Your Role
- Installation Leadership: Lead installation of HVAC systems including RTUs, splits, ductwork, refrigerant piping, and basic controls
- Job Ownership: Take full responsibility for project execution — layout, install quality, and completion timelines
- Crew Management: Direct and support junior installers to ensure efficiency and workmanship standards
- Plan Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical plans
- Quality Control: Ensure installs are clean, code-compliant, and minimize callbacks
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve installation challenges in the field without slowing down the job
- Coordination: Work with project managers, service team, and other trades as needed
- On-the-Go: Drive company vehicle to job sites and represent CH Mechanical professionally

Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years HVAC installation experience (commercial preferred)
- Leadership: Ability to run jobs and manage installers
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and mechanical layouts
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret plans and execute accordingly
- Problem Solving: Can adapt in the field and keep jobs moving
- Communication: Works well with team and other trades
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license
- Certification: EPA Certification preferred
