Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment components, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate contractor activities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and safety protocols relevant to maintenance work.
