Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and motors
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience working with high voltage and low voltage systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and make repairs or replacements as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
