Bayhead Products has a position available for a steel fabricator which would likely lead to a welding position. The main duties will be cutting, bending & buffing steel pipe & angle and eventually learning to weld frames for our poly-trucks & tilt trucks. This is a starter position for fabricating/welding - we would like to train the right applicant and no fabrication or welding experience is needed.
Major duties & responsibilities:
-Fabricating steel (cutting, bending, buffing) using various machines & hand tools
-Ability to follow instructions & simple drawings
-Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
-Ability to work various styles of frames as needed
-Reliable attendance and self-starter attitude
This is a first-shift position, though we are fine with a varied schedule if that works better. Standard first-shift typically works five days per week, M - F, 7:00am to 3:30pm, but let us know what works best for you.
