In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will help ensure optimal performance and safety of HVAC equipment across various properties. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components following schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance systems to ensure peak operation.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately assemble and troubleshoot equipment.
- Perform system inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and welders to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams and service technicians to coordinate field service activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace components such as pumps, valves, motors, or compressors in HVAC/R systems.
- Drive a vehicle safely to various job sites while maintaining proper documentation of work performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or service technician roles involving HVAC installation or maintenance.
- Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration if applicable.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in welding, boiler operation, or equipment repair is a plus.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with field service procedures for property maintenance or appliance repair roles.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
