Local FL manufacturing company is now seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Metal Assembler to join our team. This position involves assembling fabricated metal components used in industrial platforms, stands, and custom structural products.
Candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools and reading basic blueprints or assembly drawings.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $18 to $20 based on experience
1st Shift | 5:00am to 1:30pm
2nd shift | 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Responsibilities
- Assemble metal platforms, stands, frames, and structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, drills, and measuring tools
- Assist with fitting, aligning, and securing metal parts
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work closely with welders and fabrication team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, metal assembly, or fabrication preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic blueprint reading skills preferred
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and teamwork attitude
