Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment to avoid production downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, making necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee the installation, alignment, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to understand equipment needs and develop maintenance plans.
- Train junior technicians on maintenance procedures and safe use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Sr. Maintenance Technician position will have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machines, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Welding experience, fabrication and repair
- Surface grinding, a plus
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Extensive experience in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
