Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project management, Leadership skills for residential and commercial electrical work and in reading blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform low voltage and high voltage installations as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician (Project management) in both residential and commercial settings is a must.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
- Experience with construction site operations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment is required.
- Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
