Successful paving, grading, and rock crushing company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of carpentry experience, possess their own tools, and have the ability to drive to various job locations. This role involves working on both residential and commercial properties, performing high-quality construction, repairs, and installations while ensuring all work meets our high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all phases of carpentry: framing, rough carpentry, and finish work
- Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and millwork
- Light framing and structural modifications
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and job scopes
- Coordinate and oversee work of laborers and subcontractors
- Ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of journeyman-level carpentry experience
- Proven experience in both rough and finish carpentry
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable transportation (van or truck with racks) and own tools
- Ability to lead by example and take initiative on-site
- Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
