Pace Building Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced construction professional to join our growing team as an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager. We are looking for an individual who can make an immediate impact and help manage our expanding portfolio of residential, commercial, and amenity construction projects throughout the Carolinas.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will play an active role in the management and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. This individual will work closely with company leadership, project teams, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
We are seeking someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Primary Responsibilities
This position will assume an active project management role in our General Contracting and Construction operations, including both current and future projects.
Responsibilities may include:
- Project planning and coordination
- Estimating and budgeting
- Purchasing and procurement
- Contract administration
- Scheduling and project tracking
- Cost control and financial reporting
- Change order management
- Subcontractor and vendor coordination
- Client and consultant relations
- Quality control and project closeout
- Field coordination and construction oversight
Project types may include:
- Community amenity centers and recreational facilities
- Commercial and institutional buildings
- Residential construction projects
- Design-build projects
- Renovation and expansion projects
The successful candidate will work closely with all members of the Pace team and gain exposure to the full construction process, from initial project planning through final delivery.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction project management experience preferred
- Experience with commercial, residential, institutional, or design-build construction projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or a related field preferred

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
