PRODUCTION WELDER duties, and responsibilities:

· 4+ years of demonstrated comprehension in the process of welding and complete welds using TIG and/or soldering methods on stainless steel applying fine motor skill and attention to detail. This will include precision grinding and polishing to standard food grade finish specifications.

· Sets up own machines and understands how to change welding tips and completes necessary machine maintenance

· Read prints and schematics to ensure welds and parts are located properly

· Identify parts shown in prints and ensure accuracy of projects

· Welds together stainless-steel components of products and works on weldments for various projects

· Ability to use measuring equipment (tape measure, calibers, protractors) to ensure that parts are made to specifications

· Take questions to supervisor for clarification

· Ensure each job is tracked appropriately

· Maintain communication and documents problems and takes steps to resolve

· Use measuring, hand, and power tools as necessary for the assembly of products

· In addition to basic math skills, must be comfortable computing fractions and decimals

· As needed, assist in other production roles throughout the shop including bead blasting, assembly, shipping, layout, metal finishing, etc.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
