Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all service operations, ensuring technicians perform at a high level, and maximizing efficiency and profitability.
You’ll lead the service team, manage daily operations and ensure every customer receives a 5-star experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, train, and mentor HVAC service technicians
- Conduct coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Enforce company standards, processes, and service quality
- Build a strong, accountable, and high-performing team culture
Service Operations Management
- Oversee daily service scheduling and dispatch coordination
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and profitably
- Monitor call quality, technician performance, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain same-day service capabilities and fast response times
- Monitor technician performance and coach based on real data
- Audit invoices, estimates, and job notes for accuracy and quality
- Optimize dispatch board for maximum efficiency and profitability
- Ensure proper use of pricing tools, forms, and workflows
Performance Metrics You Will Own
- Technician revenue & average ticket
- Service conversion rates
- Membership growth (Priority Care Club)
- Call booking rates
- Customer satisfaction & online reviews
- Overall department profitability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or management role
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
