Ellibee Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is a family-owned HVAC company that's been serving Stephenville and Erath County since 2017. We do residential HVAC, light commercial, and commercial refrigeration — and we do it right. We're not the biggest company in Texas, and that's on purpose. We're looking for a skilled HVAC Technician who takes pride in their craft, communicates well with customers, and wants to be part of a team that actually has their back.
About the Role
This is a hybrid position — you'll be doing both service/repair calls and installation work (changeouts, ductwork, equipment installs). If you're only comfortable doing one or the other, this isn't the right fit. We need someone who can walk into a diagnostic call in the morning and help hang equipment in the afternoon.
We handle residential HVAC, light commercial, and commercial refrigeration. Commercial experience is a plus but not required — we'll bring the right person up to speed on that side.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections on Ellibee Advantage plan accounts
- Assist with full system changeouts and new equipment installations
- Follow manufacturer specs and installation standards — every time, no shortcuts
- Explain findings and repair options to customers clearly and honestly
- Document work accurately in ServiceTitan
- Keep your truck clean, stocked, and job-ready
- Represent Ellibee professionally on every call — you're the face of the company
What We Need From You
- EPA 608 Certification — required, no exceptions
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience preferred, with both service and installation
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record — non-negotiable
- Strong diagnostic skills — we need someone who can find the actual problem, not just swap parts and hope
- Physically able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and Texas summer heat
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen — we are a drug-free workplace
- Good communicator — with customers and with the team
- Stable work history — we're building a long-term team, not a pit stop
