Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator IV to join our team and contribute to the fabrication of steel components for various construction applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced fabricators to showcase their technical skills, work with advanced tools and machinery, and support our mission of delivering top-tier steel products. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about precision fabrication.

Duties

Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate steel components.
Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding tools such as MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards.
Perform welding operations adhering to ASME codes & standards for structural steel and ductwork fabrication.
Assemble fabricated parts using rigging techniques and mechanical knowledge to ensure proper fit-up and alignment.
Read schematics and blueprints to determine material requirements and fabrication sequences.
Maintain safety protocols on-site including crane operation, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and working with sheet metal.

Qualifications

Proven construction site experience with a strong background in steel fabrication.
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, welding, and plasma cutting.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and press brake machines.
Mechanical knowledge of rigging, pipe threading, machining processes, and assembly techniques.
Experience working with ductwork or structural steel projects is highly desirable.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Experience:

MIG welding: 4 years (Required)
Flat and Horizontal : 1 year (Required)
AESS Fabrication or Misc. Metals : 1 year (Preferred)
